Obviously a wondrously effective organisation. Small, but exquisite in every detail”

changing lives in wildlife areas of Africa, £5 at a time
Communities, self-help groups, NGOs, and not for profit organisations may apply to the High Five Club for a small grant. We support innovative projects across Africa working for social change.
The High Five Club’s mission is to give communities living in wildlife areas of Africa a hand up (as opposed to a hand out) in raising their living standards and future livelihood prospects by funding small-scale community projects that address:
Poverty Reduction
Education
Health & Nutrition
Environmental Issues
Sustainable Livelihoods
Please select CURRENT PROJECTS or PAST PROJECTS for details of what we do and why we do it.
Although we’ d love to be able to help everybody, we follow a simple set of procedures to enable us to stay focused on our strategic vision and keep to our funding remit. This means funding development projects in communities that live with wildlife.
Our aim is to:
• support organisations working for social change
• support community groups with little hope of conventional funding
• support projects working to reduce poverty
We do not:
• sponsor individuals
• fund operating costs
Our grants are normally in the range of up to £1,000, although other amounts will be considered.
