changing lives in wildlife areas of Africa, £5 at a time
This is Rotary Club of Canterbury Sunrise‘s update on their partnership with the High Five Club to reduce hunger and increase food security in Zambia’s Luangwa Valley.
With several years in the planning and implementation, our most wide ranging, far reaching and ambitious initiative to date. Guided by the High Five Club, the Rotary Club of Canterbury Sunrise partnered with the Rotary Club of Mfuwe in Zambia and H5C, to raise the funds needed to deliver a project that seeks to improve food security and reduce hunger for 20,000 people living the Luangwa Valley bordering the wildlife-rich South Luangwa National Park.

We are thrilled to have partnered with the Brown Munthali Foundation throughout 2025 to help towards the feeding and medical care of 30 orphaned and vulnerable children in their care, along with the painting of the classrooms and staff office at the High Five Club-built Hajimac Academy Primary School and celebrations!!!

Heart warming news from a rural community that lives alongside wildlife in Uganda. We have partnered with the Nakabango Space For Children’s Ministry to help uplift the lives of 40 vulnerable and orphaned children.
